I am Ignace Bleukx, a postdoctoral researcher at the DTAI Lab at KU Leuven, working with Prof. Tias Guns.
My research centers around constraint solving, with a focus on explainable constraint solving. Such explanations allow a user to understand why a solver returns a specific answer, and allow a user to iteratively refine the constraint model and solution found by the solver. Additionally, I am also interested in the use of constraint programming techniques for real-world applications.
In addition to my academic work, I am one of the main developers of CPMpy, an open-source Python library for modeling and solving constraint satisfaction and optimization problems across multiple modern back-end solvers.
